Your order confirmation email will state which shop you choose to collect from.

There is parking outside the Mountnessing shop, ring for attention at the allocated Click and Collect area outside the shop on the window. There is no need to join the shop queue. Present your order reference number and name, your order will be brought to you and placed on the counter – contactless collection. If the shop is closed we will still be working in the back so ring for attention as above.

We deliver every Tuesday to Friday throughout the year, excluding bank holidays. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how we get your order to you.

Our Delivery Fee

We charge £9.95 for delivery across the UK mainland.

Every order is hand-picked and packed with care in our premises. We don’t offer “free delivery” by quietly increasing our product prices. Instead, we prefer to be completely open about the real cost of getting high-quality, perishable food to you in perfect condition.

Your order is carefully wrapped, protected with bubble wrap and greaseproof paper where needed, and packed with ice packs and insulation to maintain the cold chain. We use overnight couriers to protect freshness, and we take the time to make sure nothing gets damaged in transit. We believe this level of care is worth the modest delivery charge — and we hope you’ll agree that the quality of our food and service makes it worthwhile.

How We Pack Your Order

We’ve carried out extensive testing to make sure your food stays well within safe refrigerated temperatures during transit. Every item is hand-packed into your parcel. We use bubble wrap, greaseproof paper, and additional protective materials where appropriate.

Larger orders are packed in strong, polystyrene-lined boxes with extra insulation and ice packs so everything arrives in excellent condition. We hand-pick and hand-pack every single parcel that leaves us — because we want your order to reach you exactly as it should.

Delivery Charges

Please note: We are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland. We also cannot currently deliver to the EU. We will let our customers know as soon as this changes.

Our Courier Partners

Most orders are delivered by our trusted overnight courier partner, DHL (UKMail).

For deliveries in London, we often use our own refrigerated vans where possible to give you the fastest and freshest service.

When Will I Receive My Order?

We currently work to a 3-day lead time. You can check the earliest available delivery date for any product on the individual product page.

Your order will be dispatched to arrive on your chosen delivery date. The majority of deliveries are made between 8am and 8pm. Our packaging is designed to keep your food in excellent condition for up to 3 days in transit, just in case of any unexpected delays.

We strongly recommend choosing a delivery date at least one working day before you plan to use or serve your order.

Some areas (mainly the Scottish Highlands & Islands) fall into a two-day delivery zone. If you’re unsure whether this applies to your address, just get in touch and we’ll check for you.

Delivery Address

You can have your order delivered to your home, workplace, or a neighbour. Please provide a telephone number for the delivery address. We can only deliver to one address per order.

We cannot accept responsibility for orders sent to an incorrect address, so please double-check before completing your order.

If You’re Not In When We Deliver

Please try to ensure someone will be available to receive your order on the chosen date.

If no one is in, our courier may (at their discretion and if it is safe to do so) leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place and leave a card through your door. You can add specific instructions in the “Directions or Leave Safe instructions” box at checkout.

Because we deliver perishable food, we strongly recommend having someone available to receive the delivery on the day.

Hard-to-Find Addresses

If you live in a rural location or somewhere that can be difficult to find, don’t worry. Our couriers locate properties using your postcode. As long as this is correct, they should have no problem finding you.

If you think there might still be an issue, please include your daytime telephone number so the driver can contact you if needed.
