We source our high-welfare, free-range Cockerels from Yorkshire and Essex, and they will appeal to all those adventureous food lovers out there.
Weighing approximately 3.5kg, these birds are slow grown for18 weeks and are fed a corn-rich diet with plenty of access to green pasture and hedgerows – for scratching around and foragiing.
As a result, their flavour is rich and slight gamey – particular when it comes to the legs.
And there will be plenty left for leftovers on Boxing Day.
